McAllister's Myr Hybridity quest line (after obtaining the hybrid myr data chit), this item will be available for purchase. The PC can talk with Doctor Lessau about his work on Uveto, how he knew Victor Steele, and his chimera-like appearance. In the last twenty years he has developed almost the entire biotechnology division of Steele Tech. ![]() Doctor Lessau also mentions that he is at least two centuries old. He shows no obvious sexual endowments at first glance.Īlthough born a human, Doctor Lessau has adopted the form of a chimera - a beast made of the parts of several beasts - complete with two pairs of arms. The doctor stands nude save for a lab coat worn open. Adorning his back are a set of white feathered wings. His head is that of a lion, including an orange mane that cascades down his back as hair, but a pair of massive black horns stretch out from underneath the hair, more like a bull’s horns than a goat’s in how they angle up and forward. Despite the thickness of his muscles, his hands are lean and nimble, the fingers tipped in sharp feline claws. Matching thick orange bands of fur are wrapped around each of his four wrists. His upper body is thickly muscled and covered in a thin layer of white fur that sports a thicker layer of orange around his shoulders and collar. The bulk of the tail’s scales are pitch black, save for a strip of white that runs down the front. From the waist down his lower body is a massive serpent’s tail, normally spiraled into a coil underneath him to keep him at a few inches over six feet. Lessau was human at one point, but it’s impossible to tell under the mountain of gene mods he’s undergone, which have turned him into a creature similar to the mythic chimera. Edward Lessau is the creator of Captain Steele's microsurgeons and a vendor of exotic transformatives. He currenlty resides in Uveto studying the local fauna. Edward Lessau is head of Steele Tech’s biomedical division. It might encourage people to save more often, too. Because that's obviously a problem, judging by how many people post asking how to save edit away their fuck-ups as opposed to loading a backup save.Head of Steele Tech’s biomedical divisionĭr. I'm not saying we need to signpost the egg or things like it in a meta sense with big bold letters saying, " WARNING: NON-CON SCENE AHEAD," but I am saying that making it more readily apparent that the player might encounter those situations organically would be a good thing. If it was instilled in the players during the tutorial that, "Hey, the planets you'll be visiting are dangerous, alien places! Be very careful about what you pick up!" it might not be as bad, but that would still need some less dramatic examples to condition the player into being suspicious before throwing something like the tentacle egg at them. Unless, again, that kind of thing was common, advertised, and a known threat. There's some issues with the tentacle egg. ![]() I've seen at least one post talking about that. That's a case of skim-reading, but still. There have been some players that haven't even associated picking up the egg with what triggered that scene. Since the scene doesn't trigger until you fly to another planet, you can pretty easily just forget about it completely. Also, my first assumption as an RPG player would be that it's a unique/rare item potentially used for something later down the line, not that it's going to trigger a non-interactive scene where my PC is temporarily brainwashed and forcibly impregnated.Īnd you can pick it up and carry it around for a long time, honestly. A planet where you can also pick up mangoes that are purely positive things fairly regularly. ![]()
